Law had seen enough of the demonstrations to know exactly what was going on the entire time, so instead of watching the stage, he watched Courtney.

Imagining doing to her what Nico, the Master on stage, did to his submissive, Susan, kept him rock hard.

Over the years he’d become bored with the lifestyle, unable to get the satisfaction he needed. He wanted something more permanent, and a hell of a lot more fulfilling.

The anticipation flooding his veins now renewed his excitement, the idea of having Courtney to explore almost more than he could stand.

Her own excitement, and the hint of fear in her eyes as she watched the stage, only made him want her even more.

The shock on her face when Nico focused his attention on Susan’s ass had Law stiffening and poised to go to Courtney, and he was on his feet as soon as she jumped to hers.

Brenna and Nat both started after her, stopping when Law waved them back into their seat. “I’ve got her.”

With Zach on his heels, he ran after the woman destined to turn his life upside down, catching her before she reached the end of the hall.

Whipping an arm out, he snagged her waist, yanking her close, alarmed at how badly she trembled. “Hey, baby.” Desperate to see her eyes, he lifted her chin, stunned to see tears sparkling in her eyes. “What’s wrong, honey? Talk to me.”

Shaking her head, she closed her eyes, letting the tears fall. “I can’t do that. Oh God. This is crazy. I’m so aroused I can’t even stand it, imagining doing something that I know I could never do. Let go of me. I need to get out of here.”

Zach came up to her other side and grinned, but Law saw the concern in his brother’s eyes. “I saw that you were drinking a Margarita. Jake taught me how to make his, and they’re legendary. I have all the ingredients at the house. I’ll make a pitcher and bring it over, and we can all sit down and talk.”

Law bit back a smile when Courtney whirled on them.

“I don’t want to talk!” She raced down the hall to the front door, yanking it open and rushing outside.

Following closely behind her and prepared to catch her if she fell, Law slid a hand to her waist, led her down the steps and steered her toward their SUV. “Then we won’t talk.”

He knew she was struggling to come to terms to her reaction to the evening’s festivities, and it was important to him to be there for her while she did.

They only managed to go about another twenty feet before she whirled on him again, her eyes flashing as she gestured toward the club. “I can’t do that!”

Law kept his voice cool and even, hoping to calm her. “No, you can’t—and you won’t be required, or permitted, to show your body to anyone except Zach and me.”
